Searching

No cookies and no tracking pixels. When you tap “Near me”, your browser asks first. Your position is rounded to about 1 km on your device, sent to our server for that one search, and not stored or logged. Cities and ZIPs you type are looked up on our own server, not by a third party.

Listing statistics

We count listing views and taps on call, booking, website and directions so barbers can see what the directory sends them. Each count stores the listing, the action, the day and the site you came from. No name, IP address or device ID.

Messaging a barber

When you send a message we keep your name, email, optional phone, message and preferred time, and email them to that barber so they can reply. The email is sent through Resend, our email provider, which processes it on our behalf. We don't sell your details, add you to a mailing list or text you. Ask us to delete them any time at privacy@barberco-op.com.

Maps

Map tiles load from OpenFreeMap, which sees your IP address like any website you load images from. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
